PRICES
Valid price of the service shall be specifically described in the proposal received by the Online booking system or by reservation centre. Contracted services can not be combined with other promotional offers or packages. In case of any changes or variations in booked services, the Official rates will be charged. For services which have not been used, no refunds are possible. Extra services not included in the price are to be paid individually by the guest and ordered on request at the moment of registration or payed for on the spot as agreed. The prices in euros are for informational purposes. We reserve the right to reject, cancel or modify reservations where it appears that the reservation contains or have resulted from a mistake or error. The reservation system uses the best available daily rates. VAT is included in the rates.
City tax:
City-tax is not included in the stated accommodation-rates, but is charged at the reception. City-tax is calculated in the local currency (HRK). If the guest is not paying in the currency HRK, then the city-tax is charged at the daily exchange rate of the PBZ bank on the day of payment. The amount of the city-tax per person per day is 10,00 HRK (cca. 1,40 €). Children until 11,99 years are not charged for city-tax, and children from 12 until 17,99 years are charged 50% of the full amount of the city-tax. The management reserves the right to alter the city-tax in the case of an official change of regulations concerning the amount of the city-tax by the responsible institutions.
Notes concerning the reservation procedure:
– Please note that persons of 12 years and older are charged the adult rate. Please include them in the number of adults during the reservation procedure.
– Should you wish to modify or cancel a confirmed reservation, you can do it online, subject to the Cancellation policy.
– The hotel will prepare an extra-bed only if there are at least 3 paying persons stated with full name during the reservation process and if these are stated in the rate calculation.
– Hotel reserves the right to reject, cancel or modify reservations where it appears that the above contain or have resulted from a mistake or error of the reservation system.
Prepayment:
1. Reservations with regular rates
– The hotel will charge the guest for a non-refundable prepayment of 30% of the total price in the 3 days before arrival.
The hotel will charge the guests credit-card, so the guest has to provide valid credit-card details.
If the credit-card details happen to be invalid, the hotel will inform the guest about this and cancel the reservation.
– If the guest wishes to make a direct prepayment, payment has to be done at the latest 3 days before arrival.
2. Reservations with special rates with non-refundable prepayment
– The hotel will charge the guest for a non-refundable full-prepayment of 100% of the total price (except city-tax and possible extra-services), right after the reservation has been made.
The hotel will charge the guests credit-card, so the guest has to provide valid credit-card details.
If the credit-card details should happen to be invalid, the hotel will inform the guest about this and cancel the reservation.
– If the guest wishes to make a direct prepayment, payment has to be done at the latest 24 hours after the reservation has been made.
Payment:
The guest settles the final bill at the front desk on the day of arrival or when the personal documents will be returned to him.
Payment is possible only in the Croatian national currency HRK calculated at the medium exchange rate of the Croatian national bank (HNB) on the day of payment.
Payment is possible with credit-cards (Amex, Diners, Visa, Master), debit cards or cash (Croatian HRK).
For buying the Croatian currency HRK, You can use either the hotel’s exchange office or any other exchange office.
Because of currency differences as well as the commissions charged by exchange offices, you need to be aware that the amount in EUR necessary for paying the bill will be slightly higher than the amount stated in the reservation and on the bill.
Late check-out is possible only after confirmation from the reception and at an extra-charge:
– supplement for late check-out from 12 until 18h: 50% of the value of 1 bed-and-breakfast overnight per person
– supplement for late check-out from 18h onwards: 100% of the value of 1 bed-and-breakfast overnight per person
Cancellation policy:
1. Cancellation policy with regular rates:
– Reservations will be held until 18:00, on the day of arrival.
– Cancellations until 8 days prior to arrival (until 24:00h): no cancellation-fee.
– Cancellations between 3 and 0 day before arrival, guests not arriving according to reservation (“no-show“), or guests declining the room for unjustified reasons:
the previously charged non-refundable deposit is used for cancellation-fee.
– Cancellations after check-in (shorter stay than the original reservation): a cancellation-fee of 30% of the value of remaining days that were reserved but not used, will be charged.
2. Cancellation policy with special rates with non-refundable prepayment
– Reservations will be held until 24:00, on the day of arrival.
– For any kind of cancellations (cancellations at any time after the reservation has been made, guests not arriving according to reservation (“no-show“), guests declining the room for unjustified reasons, cancellations after check-in i.e. shortening of stay), the previously fully charged non-refundable prepayment is retained by the hotel.
Other accommodation conditions:
– “Check-in” is from 14:00 h onwards on the day of arrival.
– “Check-out” is until 11:00 h on the day of the departure.
– Hotel President Split is non-smoking facility.
– Pets and other animals are allowed in the hotel with additional charge.
– Hotel President reserves the right to deny accommodation and other services to guest whose conduct is not in accordance with the hotel’s house order, whose conduct in any manner disturbs the peace or dignity of other guests or personnel, or in any manner threatens their security or wellbeing.
– The hotel does not accommodate persons under 18 years of age unless they are accompanied by an adult person (over 18 years).
– The hotel will consider any possible complaints only if they were previously made directly in the hotel during the guest’s stay – either directly to the responsible personnel, or through the AGENCY that made the reservation, or through an official representative.
– Management reserves the right to close the wellness or any of its parts (swimming-pool, fitness, saunas,etc.) in case of necessary repairs or regular maintenance or seasonal closure during the winter period.
– Considering the existing differences between rooms even of the same type, the photographs are only for illustration and information, and may not correspond to the actual reserved room.

CLAIMS
It is in the guests’ interest to make a claim on the spot and immediately after the event that provoked the claim. In case the claim shall have no effect whatsoever the guest has to request a confirmation proving that the service failed to meet the agreed requirements. The confirmation must be enclosed with a claim made in writing within 8 days after tour completion. In case a guest fails to produce a claim in writing within the said period President d.o.o. is not obliged to take it into consideration. In case a claim is made abroad a guest is required to respect the rules of putting in the claim, providing the confirmation on the spot and respecting the deadline for putting in the claim. It is the President d.o.o. duty to lodge a written decision against the claim. President d.o.o. shall only be dealing with claims that cannot be dealt with on the spot. During the said procedure, a guest shall irrevocably renounce the interference of any other person, arbitration of any other institution as well as release any information into media. Within a said period, a guest shall also renounce the right of submitting charges. The highest amount of the refund for the claim can reach the amount of the part of the service for which the claim was made whereas it cannot include already used services as well as the full price of the package. A guest and President d.o.o. shall try to settle amicably and to mutual satisfaction any disputes that might arise. Should they be unable to do so they shall refer to any such disputes to the County Court in Rijeka for final settlement. Applicable law shall be Croatian law.
CATEGORIZATION AND DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMMODATION
Offered accommodation shall be described in compliance with an official categorization effective in Republic of Croatia at the moment of issuing the proposal, according to information received by President d.o.o. and its partners. President d.o.o. shall not be liable for any information received in person or in written form by the third party other than services stated in the proposal. President d.o.o. shall not be liable for any errors and omissions in the information provided by its business partners.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION Room arrangement shall be defined by the reception at the place of stay. Unless a guest hasn’t specifically booked a room having extra facilities on request, he/she must accept any type of officially registered accommodation described in the proposal and the pricelist. A guest is not allowed to enter a room before 2 p.m. on the day of commencement of the service and is required to leave the room until 11 a.m. on the day of completion of the service. Arrivals later than 8 p.m. must be notified in advance unless stated differently.
